OUR MISSION

At the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement agency, we help new businesses and stakeholders with a positive impact on the area to locate here, with a view to driving forward economic change and fostering the emergence of new responsible sectors in Nantes & Saint-Nazaire.

OUR COMMITMENTS

Societal and environmental change is above all achieved through the initiatives that we take every day alongside stakeholders in the Nantes & Saint-Nazaire area.

3 main priorities underpin our commitments:

1. ATTRACT STAKEHOLDERS WHO CONTRIBUTE TO THE AREA’S TRANSITIONS

Approach companies and stakeholders with a positive social and environmental impact
Support and promote the organisation of emerging high-impact sectors with the partners (sustainable fashion, wind-powered transport, recycling, energy retrofitting, circular economy, logistics, new forms of mobility)
Organise Wind for Goods, the first national event to be dedicated to sustainable maritime transport in 2023

2. PROMOTE THE AREA AND SUPPORT ITS TRANSITIONS

Position Nantes & Saint-Nazaire as a high-impact destination: support for high-impact events at local (impact market of Web2Day, Le Grand Défi,etc.) and national level (ChangeNOW, Produrable)
Raise awareness among the community of the Bold and members of the Convention Bureau about the key issues shaping the area’s transition (workshops on sustainable purchasing, events fresco, how to conduct a CSR policy, zero-waste, carbon footprint)
Open our range of services to neighbouring intermunicipal communities in a complementary mindset

3. BE A RESPONSIBLE AND EXEMPLARY AGENCY

Train the agency’s entire workforce in the challenges of CSR and positive impact
Offer contributions of skills & expertise particularly to support the Fondation territoriale 44 for social inequalities
Reduce our environmental footprint, by wasting less and travelling less, by recycling our stands and by hosting our websites on a green and sustainable server
Labels and certifications: secure ISO 20121 certification for the Convention Bureau, sign a partnership with the Eco-Events Network (REEVE), OSR (organisational social responsibility) certification confirmed Planet RSE, joining the association of responsible company directors of Western France (DRO).
