Wind for Goods returns in June 2027 for its 4th edition
A leading international event dedicated to wind-powered maritime transport, Wind for Goods highlights innovations in the sector and explores the challenges of this key industry in the energy transition. Maritime transport is entering a phase of accelerated decarbonization, driven by solutions that are now operational. This 4th edition will be an opportunity to discuss national and international challenges facing the sector and to meet the stakeholders of this rapidly growing ecosystem. On the agenda: sea outings, boat demonstrations, exhibitions of prototypes and sails, round tables, conferences, and business meetings…
Showcasing wind propulsion solutions and technological innovations
While regulatory and financial barriers still need to be addressed, the growth of the sector is very real, and various technologies are already in operation across the world’s oceans.
Wind for Goods will once again bring together stakeholders in wind-powered transport around three key ambitions:
- Showcasing wind propulsion solutions and their technological innovations
- Fostering connections and synergies between stakeholders
- Informing, mobilizing, and engaging financiers, shippers, elected officials, and industrial players
An event dedicated to professionals
French and international companies in the sector will once again attend this unifying event, organized by the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement agency. Engineering firms, shipowners, equipment manufacturers, industrial companies, shippers, economic networks, competitiveness clusters, research and training institutions, investors, and policymakers are coming together to discuss major sector advancements, create synergies, and support the industry’s growth.
Two days of events
Over the course of these two days, conferences will be organized to discuss the key challenges of wind-powered maritime transport. It will also be an opportunity for international stakeholders to share large-scale solutions they are developing to address the challenges of ecological transition. Sea visits, tours of flagship sites in Nantes and Saint-Nazaire, and B2B meetings via a dedicated platform will also be organized.
A confirmed international momentum
During the last edition, the Wind for Goods event brought together more than 1,000 visitors from 35 nationalities, over 70 exhibitors, and around twenty innovations in the field of wind-powered transport.
