Created in 2015 to boost the visibility of the region and ensure balanced development of our ecosystems, the Nantes Saint-Nazaire economic development agency took a decisive turn in 2020 towards responsible and sustainable economic growth. By 2024, it became the first mission-driven economic development agency. This status enables us to fully embrace the challenges of the 21st century and to promote a virtuous vision of economic development.
Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement brings together, attracts, and promotes economic players (companies, talent, professional event organizers, etc.) who are creating the conditions for transformation, making Nantes Saint-Nazaire an open, creative, and committed region.
Our teams assist companies in understanding their market, establishing themselves in the region, connecting with professional networks, or organizing events. We also contribute to the region’s environmental and social transitions by supporting the development of emerging sectors.

Our governance
Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement is funded by Nantes Métropole, Saint-Nazaire Agglo, and the Nantes Saint-Nazaire Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2024, the agency expanded its governance to include new economic players. The goal: to strengthen economic cooperation in the region and support ecosystems and businesses in their environmental and social transitions.
